Great to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Allyson! Reaching out for support takes courage, and I am so glad you are here. My practice is designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are navigating everyday stressors, anxiety and depression, or the lasting impacts of trauma.

I understand that healing looks different for everyone, so I offer a compassionate, validating space for both deep, structured healing and supportive talk therapy. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and build the resilience you need to thrive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is highly collaborative, meaning we tailor our sessions entirely to your needs and goals. If you are looking for traditional talk therapy, we can use conversational approaches like CBT, DBT, and Attachment-Based Therapy to process daily challenges, build coping skills, and explore relationship patterns.

If you are seeking trauma recovery, I also specialize in EMDR and Somatic Therapy to gently heal the mind-body connection. Whatever brings you in, we will work together to find the tools that bring you the most relief.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main priority is to ensure you feel comfortable, safe, and on the same page about our work together. We will gently explore what brings you to therapy, what your day-to-day life looks like, and decide together whether a conversational approach or deeper processing makes the most sense for you right now.

We will always move at a pace that feels right for you, with no pressure to dive into heavy topics right away. My hope is that you leave feeling truly acknowledged, validated, and supported.
