Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel accepted, understood, and empowered. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself while also feeling challenged to grow. I meet clients where they are, recognizing that everyone comes to therapy with unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, complex family dynamics, parenting challenges, substance use, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and postpartum adjustment. I have extensive experience supporting teens and families through difficult situations, as well as helping new mothers adjust to the emotional challenges that can come with pregnancy and the postpartum period.

My approach is strength-based and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you build on your strengths, develop new skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I bring compassion, honesty, and authenticity into every session. I am warm and caring, but I will also gently challenge you when it supports your growth and helps you move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know each other and building a foundation for our work together. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and understood, so we'll take things at a pace that feels right for you. I also like to provide a safe space for you to explore if this relationship would be a good fit for you.

We'll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your current challenges, and the goals you hope to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. You'll also have the opportunity to ask me questions about my approach and what therapy with me might look like.

By the end of our first session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your needs and begin developing a plan that feels collaborative and personalized. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, hopeful, and confident that we're working together toward the changes that matter most to you.
