Great to meet you!

Hello,

As a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I have a background as a military spouse, for over 20 yrs, working in a correctional setting and in the medical field. I’ve been in practice for 8 years and my focus is to treat adults who are struggling with PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Military Reintegration and Trauma.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a client-centered, strength based approach that recognizes each person’s unique experiences and abilities. I integrate evidence-based therapies to assist clients in gaining insight, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and the goals you hope to achieve through treatment. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges, while also giving you space to share what feels most important to you. Together, we’ll identify areas of focus and begin developing a plan that supports your unique needs and goals.
