Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual and bicultural (Spanish-English) Latina therapist who understands the importance of feeling heard, understood, and welcomed in a therapeutic space that embraces diversity and honors each person’s unique story. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University, and am originally from Colorado. Whether you are looking for extra support, guidance, or simply a safe space to process what you’re going through, I look forward to building a warm, trusting, and collaborative relationship with you.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and ACT, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, both of which can support deeper trauma processing and healing. I am also certified in Domestic Violence training and have a special interest in supporting survivors as they navigate their healing journey. Most importantly, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. It would be an honor to hear your story and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and heard. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together—at a pace that feels right for you. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say; I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and without judgment. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and exploring how I can best support you on your healing journey. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibility of feeling better.
