I specialize in working with adults, youth, and athletes to manage anxiety, depression, and life transitions. By integrating evidence based practices such as mindfulness, CBT, and DBT, I help clients develop practical strategies for overcoming challenges and enhancing relationships. My approach focuses on collaboration with clients to manage their mental health symptoms and maximize their potential for growth. With a certification in sports social work, I support athletes in navigating their personal well-being both on and off the field.
I believe meaningful change comes from discovering what works best for you, not simply applying the most popular solution. Therapy should be individualized, collaborative, and responsive to your unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help explore and adopt more effective behaviors, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships, and mindfulness practices to better understand and navigate the impact of emotions. Sessions with me are adaptive and collaborative, balancing practical tools with meaningful reflection.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting current and former athletes' wellbeing, as well as navigating life transitions in general.
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know you and what's bringing you to therapy. We'll explore your current life circumstances, identify your goals, and discuss how you'd like therapy to positively impact your life to come up with a treatment plan.
We’ll also talk about how I can best support you, including what has or hasn’t felt helpful in the past. My goal is for you to leave with greater clarity, a sense of direction, and a collaborative plan for moving forward.
