Great to meet you!

I provide quality and compassionate mental health care for adults of all ages. My main focus is assisting and empowering women and LGBTQ+ across the lifespan, whether that be in self-discovery, relationships, trauma, or facing significant changes in one's life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I've been in practice for the past 7 years. Previous to that I worked in direct social services including conflict mediation, domestic violence, homelessness, vocational rehab, and complementary healthcare.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as an opportunity for you to openly and thoroughly explore aspects of yourself and your life. Those aspects may be knocking loudly on the door of your life, demanding to be addressed. Or those aspects may be tucked away or pushed down to the edges of your consciousness, and you're ready to invest in the process of examining them out loud, with support.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist, I endeavor to be a skilled, present, compassionate witness to your process. Each person's process is unique and complex, and I respect you as the expert on your own life. I seek to provide a safe, accepting, confidential atmosphere for you to express yourself authentically.

In our first session, I'll listen carefully to what you'd like to share and get a sense of what brings you to therapy. From there we can work together to clarify your initial goals/hopes and work collaboratively to address them.
