Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Althea. For more than 10 years, I’ve helped people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, honesty, and a genuine belief that healing is possible for everyone. I see therapy as a partnership — you lead, and I follow. My role is to listen deeply, walk beside you, and help you uncover the strength, clarity, and confidence that’s already within you. Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and real. Together, we’ll focus on your goals, not just your struggles, and build on your natural strengths. I take a nonjudgmental, supportive approach that meets you where you are while helping you move toward the life you want. Whether you’re coping with stress, trauma, anxiety, or simply feeling stuck, our work will center on helping you find balance, healing, and self-understanding.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your story at your own pace, and I’ll help you start identifying what you want to change and how we can get there together. Many clients tell me they leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and encouraged — like they’ve talked with a trusted friend who helps them see things more clearly.
