Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a warm and collaborative approach to therapy. I specialize in trauma-informed care, using a strength based lens to support clients in building resilience and moving towards meaningful change. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Practice and various other modalities to help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation and life transitions. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, develop new coping strategies and reconnect with their inner strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to the clients unique needs. I draw from various methods and modalities such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness and strengths-based techniques to address both emotional and practical concerns. My focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, while also providing actionable tools to help individuals move forward. The aim is work together, to build own strengths, explore challenges and achieve the goals that matters most to the individual.

What you can expect from me

In the first session clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where we begin to know each other. I’ll take the time to listen to their story and begin to understand why they are seeking therapy. Even though first sessions are about exploring background, current concerns and what they are hoping to achieve from therapy. I want clients to feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. Therefore I would discuss your goals and how therapy can best support them. You’re in control of what you share and I’m here to help you feel supported throughout the process. My main goal would be to build a strong foundation of trust so you feel safe and heard. While also exploring ways to move forwards together in a way that feels right for you.
