Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience providing psychotherapy to adults and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, and life transitions. I specialize in aging and adjusting to medical illnesses and concerns.

I utilize a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach with emphasis on practical coping skills to support emotional wellbeing and optimize daily functioning. I provide virtual psychotherapy in a supportive, respective environment, tailored to each client's needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a collaborative and compassionate approach grounded in evidence-based practice. I work with clients to better understand their emotional experiences, identify patterns contributing to distress, and help develop practical strategies to enhance coping and overall wellbeing.

I tailor therapy to match each client's needs, goals, values, and life experiences when addressing concerns relating to anxiety, depression, stress, health-concerns, life transitions, and age-related concerns. I strive to create a supportive, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful and sustainable changes.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive and structured conversation focused on understanding concerns, goals, and what they hope to gain from therapy. This involves obtaining background information (including current stressors or symptoms) and begin identifying goals for treatment.

Clients are not expected to have everything figured out prior to the first session. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and informed about the therapy process. I also collaboratively discuss the next steps and an individualized plan for treatment.
