Great to meet you!

Your first session will be a calm, welcoming space where you can talk about what has been weighing on you at your own pace. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. My role is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we begin exploring what brought you to therapy.

During our first meeting, we’ll talk about the challenges or stressors you’ve been experiencing, the patterns you’ve noticed in your life or relationships, and what kind of support would feel most helpful right now. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to help us better understand your experiences while also making sure the pace feels manageable.

Together we’ll begin identifying your goals and creating a plan for therapy that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with what you want to change or strengthen in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping you reconnect with a sense of internal safety. I integrate nervous-system regulation, emotional insight work, and practical strategies that support meaningful change in daily life.

In our work together, we explore the patterns that shape how you respond to stress, relationships, and difficult emotions. My style is warm, grounding, and collaborative while also offering clear guidance when it’s helpful.

The goal of therapy is not just to talk about problems, but to help you develop steadier emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, and more supportive ways of relating to yourself and others. Over time, many clients begin to feel more clear, more stable, and better equipped to move through life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be a calm, welcoming space where you can share what’s been weighing on you at your own pace. I’ll help you get grounded, explore what’s brought you to therapy, and identify the patterns or stress points that need the most support. You can expect compassion, clarity, and a structured sense of direction. Together, we’ll outline your goals and begin creating a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and doable.
