Great to meet you!

I know how hard it can be to juggle relationships, family, work, and your own well-being. I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Missouri and a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in Illinois, and I’ve spent over 30 years helping individuals and families navigate tough seasons and find their footing again.

My approach to therapy

Much of my work has focused on complex trauma, high-conflict relationships, family dynamics, and emotional healing. I’ve worked in state systems, with diverse communities, and as Clinical Director of a residential substance use and mental health program. I see adolescents (12+) and adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship or interpersonal conflict. My style is collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused, often using brief therapy when helpful so you can see progress while still doing meaningful, deeper work.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and making sure you feel safe, heard, and understood. I’ll explain confidentiality, ask about what brought you to therapy, explore your concerns, motivation for change, and strengths, and start identifying what you’d like to be different. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits you—so you can gain clarity, build new coping skills, and move forward with more confidence.
