Great to meet you!

Welcome! Taking the first step has the potential to feel overwhelming, so I am incredibly glad you made it here. I'm a therapist who focuses on providing a safe, understanding space while actively motivating my clients to reach their full potential.

My approach to therapy

" You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending"- C.S. Lewis

My approach is found to be more humanistic and person centered. Although I am most eclectic and can often use other strategies to support your goals, I am aligning with your present self and uniquely motivating you to see your future. In this space you can actively see a psychodynamic approach. Some key focuses of change are through the lens of structure and homework, such as CBT. And other structures of therapy may require a solution-focused approach for optimal change. Overall, I will spend more time honoring the past while using positive psychology to inspire a new tomorrow. The concept in sessions with me is to be a guiding voice to help you discover your ideal self or change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you may experience a space for alignment and understanding. I will review intake documentation, and reasons for approaching therapy in this time of your life. With your consent we will discover a set of goals to move forward in our next session. In the event we are holding space for more conversation and shared understanding, I will most likely schedule a follow up appointment to guide you to the goals we can both agree to work though together. I am calm, open-minded, soft spoken but I can align to be assertive, in order to structure the initial sessions. If this is your first experience in therapy, please be your authentic self and know that this space is carved out just for you. Welcome to a space built entirely around your growth and healing.
