Great to meet you!

I’m Alyiah, Licensed Professional Counselor, and I provide therapy that is warm, direct, and actually useful in real life.

I help clients who feel stuck in patterns—overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional burnout, or relationship cycles—and want clarity on how to move differently. My background in psychology and criminology helps me quickly connect patterns so we’re not just talking, we’re understanding and shifting what’s keeping you stuck.

If spirituality is important to you, we can also integrate that into your work in a way that feels aligned and supportive.

My approach to therapy

My approach is insight + strategy. We figure out the “why,” then build tools that help you apply change in your everyday life.

I use a mix of CBT, DBT-informed skills, ACT, and solution-focused therapy. I’m active and collaborative—I’ll guide, challenge, and support you so you leave sessions with both clarity and direction.

I also create space for spiritual exploration if that’s part of your healing, while keeping everything grounded in evidence-based care.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about understanding you and what’s been weighing on you.

We’ll talk through your current concerns, identify patterns, and start creating clear goals for therapy. You can expect a space that feels comfortable, focused, and nonjudgmental—while still helping you leave with more clarity than you came in with.

If you value spirituality, we can begin exploring how that fits into your healing process as well.
