Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I received my Ph.D. from Syracuse University and completed my internship at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I have gained extensive experience conducting psychological assessments, diagnosing a wide range of mental health conditions, and providing evidence-based psychotherapy.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, meaning I help you explore the "why" behind your feelings and behaviors. Together, we explore how past experiences, especially early relationships, can shape the way you feel, cope, and relate to others today, often without you realizing it.

What you can expect from me

My intake process is conversational and focused on understanding you beyond just your symptoms. For me, progress in therapy often looks like developing greater freedom to experience and tolerate the full range of your emotions, rather than feeling the need to suppress, avoid, or disconnect from them. As you become more emotionally aware and accepting of your internal experiences, we often see a decrease in symptoms and an increased sense of control over your emotions, reactions, and behaviors. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns that shape their lives.
