Great to meet you!

Hello. I have been a licensed MFT for over 20 years. I enjoy helping my clients reach their own goals by offering support, research based strategies and tools and even a little bit of humor. I work creatively and flexibly to meet the needs of my clients.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a client centered approach- looking at where the client is currently at, what their goals are and their readiness for change. I talk with each client about what therapy is, how I work as a therapist, what I can offer them and even what I can't. I help clients to understand that therapy is like going to the gym- the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it!

What you can expect from our first session

Most importantly, I hope that each of my clients will leave sessions feeling heard and understood. They will also leave with something they can focus on or work on throughout the week or until our next session. This will help bring our work together into their lives and give them time and space to practice new skills or behaviors.
