Dr Alyse DiBenedetto is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the psychotherapeutic treatment of a broad range of emotional issues in both young adults and adults. She also conducts couples counseling.
Alyse received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. She then continued on to receive her doctorate in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Our approach to therapy is a combination of empathetic skills, humor, and a non-judgmental pscyhodynamic approach coupled with evidence based strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy. The duration of treatment is highly variable and depends on many factors, including the goals you have, your experience with therapy and the challenges we are managing. You may benefit from a number of different therapeutic strategies and techniques.
