Great to meet you!

I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a justice-oriented, compassion-focused, and holistic Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in community and college mental health. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma (racial/ethnic, intergenerational, religious), identity (race/ethnicity, gender, LGBTQ+), and relationships (family, social, ENM/polyamory). Therapy with me is a safe and supportive haven to remind you that YOU matter.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is warm, open-minded, and intuitive-based. As a person-centered therapist, I seek to incorporate your cultural/ancestral healing practices as well as the things that make your heart “sing”. I incorporate EMDR, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and solutions-focused therapy and draw from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, feminist/multicultural and somatic-based therapies.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal as a therapist is to support you in connecting with yourself, your intuitive strengths, and your values (what matters to you). I aim to support you in leaving each session understanding yourself better and with tools to manage life’s stressors. My hope is you walk away from sessions feeling seen, heard, affirmed, and empowered to live the life you desire.
