Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, client-centered counselor with a background in school counseling and experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through a variety of emotional and life challenges. My background in counseling and education has enhanced my passion for helping clients navigate grief, anxiety, life transitions, and countless challenges that can impact emotional well-being. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I believe in meeting each client where they are and using individualized, practical strategies to help them build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward meaningful growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered and solution-focused care, with a strong belief that every individual has strengths, resilience, and the ability to create meaningful change. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment where clients feel truly heard, understood, and respected as individuals. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, explore practical solutions, and recognize the progress they're already making. I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel empowered to take an active role in their journey.

What you can expect from me

In this supportive space, clients are encouraged to show up exactly as they are, without fear of judgment, and to move at a pace that feels right for them. I aim to create a welcoming, grounded environment where trust can grow and clients feel comfortable exploring both challenges and hopes for the future. Together, we often work toward goals such as increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, enhancing communication and relationships, and building confidence in responsible decision-making. I also support clients in developing clear, realistic, and meaningful outcomes that reflect their personal values, while helping them recognize and celebrate even small steps of progress along the way. Ultimately, I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel empowered, supported, and hopeful as they move toward lasting and positive change.
