Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Alysia McClean, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and comfortable being yourself. I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and emotional challenges. My approach is warm and collaborative, creating space to explore what you are experiencing while developing practical tools that support meaningful change. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. We’ll work together to better understand where you are, what you need, and where you’d like to go.

My approach to therapy

I believe every person brings their own experiences, strengths, and needs into therapy, so our work together should reflect that. I take a collaborative and individualized approach, helping you explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be affecting your well-being. Together, we can build on your strengths, develop new ways of coping, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and without judgment. I’ll listen, ask thoughtful questions, and sometimes gently challenge you while giving you room to move at a pace that feels comfortable. My goal is for our sessions to feel like a place where you can be honest, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and leave with insights or tools you can carry into your everyday life.
