Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California. I've been working in Mental Health for over 10 years, and have helped individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, eating challenges, gender identity, and major life transitions.

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they feel heard without judgment—a place to sort through their thoughts, gain clarity, and walk away with tools they can actually use in real life.

In our sessions, I bring a mix of warmth and honesty, paired with evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and DBT, all through a trauma-informed lens. My style is conversational and practical, and yes—I like to keep things real. When it fits, I’ll sprinkle in humor, a dash of sarcasm, and the occasional pop culture or Disney reference (because sometimes a little laughter and a well-timed quote can make the hard stuff easier).

Together, we’ll explore what truly helps you thrive—and maybe even have a few laughs along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in meeting you exactly where you are - no fixing, judging or 'have you tried yoga?' energy, unless you actually want that. I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you make sense of what's been weighing on you, notice patterns that no longer serve you, and build tools that actually fit your real-world life (not an imaginary, perfectly regulated one). I work collaboratively, with curiosity, compassion, and the flexibility to navigate new or unexpected challenges as they come up - because life rarely follows a treatment plan. Sessions are a space where you can show up as your full self, humor, contradictions, and all, and feel genuinely seen and understood while we do meaningful work that supports growth, resilience and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

A typical therapy session is a safe space for you to talk about what’s on your mind and how you’ve been feeling. We usually start by checking in about your week and anything important you’d like to share. From there, we work together to explore your thoughts and emotions, understand patterns that might be causing stress, and find practical ways to cope. Sometimes this includes learning new skills, practicing strategies, or just taking time to reflect. Toward the end, we’ll review what stood out during the session and talk about any steps you’d like to try before we meet again. The goal is to support you in feeling heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes.
