Great to meet you!

Alyssa is a (an) LCSW and LCADC (Certified alcohol and substance abuse counselor). She has been trained and supervised in EMDR , Ketamine assisted therapy and Trauma Focused CBT. Alyssa has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families finding solutions and helping people understand where their stress is coming from and learning how to cope more effectively. In a safe place, using a blend of mind body and CBT, Alyssa supports and explores her client’s issues finding solutions to their problems.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual. I believe healing happens in a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and understood. I draw from evidence-based modalities while also honoring the mind–body connection, helping clients develop insight, emotional regulation, and practical tools for lasting change. I work at a pace that feels supportive, meeting clients where they are and empowering them to reconnect with their strengths and values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a supportive and welcoming space to begin building trust and understanding. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have about the process. I’ll ask questions to get to know you, but there is no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also review logistics and next steps so you leave with a sense of clarity about how we’ll work together.
