Great to meet you!

Life can be tough. And sometimes, the best way to navigate it is with a little bit of humor and self-compassion. Before I became a therapist, I was a foster care caseworker for 7 years and worked with so many families on repairing family dynamics, helping strengthen families in healing, and helping others build new families. I have been teaching parenting classes for 4 years and love working with families and children on strengthening their bonds and promoting healthy relationships.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach tailored to each individual’s needs. Depending on your goals and preferences, we may explore techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, play-therapy, and trauma-informed care. I also emphasize strengths-based therapy, focusing on your inherent strengths and resilience to help you overcome obstacles and build confidence. I am here to support you in discovering the strategies that work best for you.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions together, I aim to build a strong, trusting relationship that allows you to feel heard and understood. My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights you need to move forward with confidence and self-compassion.
