Clients can expect the first session to feel like a welcoming, low-pressure conversation where we begin getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and any past experiences you’ve had with therapy. I may ask some questions about your background, relationships, and current challenges to get a fuller picture of your life.
We’ll also go over how I work, what therapy might look like moving forward, and answer any questions you have so you can feel comfortable and informed. By the end of the session, we’ll start identifying initial goals and next steps—at a pace that feels right for you.
