Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a mom of 1 spunky little girl, 4 lovable cats, and 1 high-spirited dog! I love doing yoga, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and exploring nature in my spare time. I incorporate these aspects of myself so we can have a real therapeutic relationship, rather than me being "some person" on the other side of a screen. Oh, and I am also a certified EMDR practitioner!

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating individuals with trauma (which includes anxiety and depression) through the lens of DBT and EMDR. I will provide a safe and validating environment that will aid you in exploring the past, taking accountability for the present, and creating the future you desire. I love to combine my creativity along with client’s strengths in an effort to enhance the therapeutic experience and make the often tough experience of change more manageable.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will spend time getting to know you, learn what you want to gain from therapy, and we will collaborate on setting long-term goals. In our following sessions you will gain insight into what is getting in your way of living the life you want, build coping skills, and set goals to help you move forward. Think of it as going on a journey - first you decide where to go, then you gather the supplies, and then you set off to where you want to go! Visit my website to learn more!
