Great to meet you!

I approach my care with kindness, calmness, humor, and genuine curiosity. I am a therapist and a leader in the social work field since 2012. I will help you reduce your feelings of overwhelm, feel more in control over your life, and have better relationships.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Past and current clients have told me that I have a "warm and calm aura," and a natural ability to help the process feel natural and comfortable. I am my authentic self with my clients. I curse freely (but not gratuitously). I will laugh with you in session, I may cry with you. I am 100% human. My expertise is in Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR Therapy, ADHD and neuro-divergent thinkers, and relationships of all kinds. I also enjoy working with folx who identify themselves in the LGBTQ+ community.

What you can expect from our first session

When you are working with me, you can expect to leave a session feeling like your time was well spent. You may leave with some new ideas, a new perspective. You may feel validated, strong, and empowered. At times, you may leave feeling challenged, and with a lot to think about. You will always feel safe.
