Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated behavioral health professional with 10 years of experience providing crisis intervention, individual therapy, family therapy, and supportive services to youth and adults. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Mary in 2020 and have experience working with diverse populations across a variety of behavioral health settings. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and collaborative, utilizing evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), behavioral interventions, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness techniques, and motivational interviewing. I believe in tailoring treatment modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals in order to support meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best through a collaborative relationship built on compassion, care, honesty, and transparency. My approach is open-minded, supportive, and laid back, creating a safe space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves without judgment. I strive to meet clients where they are in their lives, recognizing that each person’s experiences, challenges, and goals are unique. Together, we work toward growth, healing, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for the client.

What you can expect from me

The first therapy session is designed to be warm, welcoming, and focused on building a comfortable connection. During this time, we will explore your unique reasons for seeking therapy, discuss past experiences that may have shaped where you are today, and identify goals you would like to work toward moving forward. These goals may include improving relationships, increasing enjoyment and satisfaction in life, building self-esteem, and developing a healthier self-view. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin the therapeutic process together.
