Alyssa Garcia

My name is Alyssa and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in El Paso, offering virtual therapy throughout Texas. I received a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and spent my internship and much of my career working with justice-involved individuals. As a result, I have developed a refined ability to hold space for my clients' most shameful and most joyous moments and help foster a positive outlook of their future. I love helping clients navigate identity, relationships, anxieties, and behavioral patterns in a way that feels empowering and without fear of judgment.

I specialize in CBT, and often utilize this in combination with whichever approach suits you best. I have an eclectic person-centered approach, and my priority is to meet you where you are and help and challenge you to see yourself holistically.

Life alone brings us daily stresses and unpredictability. On top of that, so many of us bring our own trauma, self-defeating beliefs, unhealthy relationship patterns, and so much more. Your past is outside of your circle of control now, but you get to decide how you move forward. I want to help you do that. You are the expert of your own life, but I'd love to help you see the whole picture and decide what you want that to look like.
