Great to meet you!

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist that enjoys helping my clients grow into an authentic and empowered version of themselves! I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, attachment issues, depression, relationship issues, and self- esteem. I have spent most of my career working in a trauma center and at private practice treating a variety of client concerns. I have a particular passion for working with clients that struggle with emotion regulation and anxiety, and setting boundaries in relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is human-first, and I believe that a safe and comfortable therapeutic relationship is the foundation to healing. I am eclectic but will typically use a blend of psychodynamic, attachment, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I will often use humor and am expressive in session, as I don't believe therapy always has to be heavy. I will gently challenge you when needed, once we have a trusting therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

I see the first session as a chance to get a holistic view of you and your story. We will complete the intake, in which I will gather information needed to learn about how to best approach your treatment. Starting therapy can create a mix of emotions so we will ease into the first session getting to know one another. Toward the end of session, we will solidify your treatment goals.
