Great to meet you!

Alyssa works with adolescents and adults, guiding them through anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and the lasting effects of trauma. With specialized training in trauma-informed care, CBT, and trauma processing, she helps clients build coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and navigate family dynamics with confidence and resilience. Alyssa takes a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy, creating a safe space where clients can explore, heal, and grow at their own pace. When she’s not in session, Alyssa enjoys hiking with her two golden retrievers, expanding her plant collection, and spending time on the golf course.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and trauma processing techniques, while drawing from other therapeutic modalities when appropriate.

Together, we'll work to better understand the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or self-esteem concerns, I'll help you develop practical coping skills, build healthier boundaries, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to heal, grow, and become the version of yourself you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to make your first session as comfortable as possible. We'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what has brought you to therapy, and exploring what you'd like your life to look like moving forward. You don't have to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start—that's what I'm here for. Together, we'll begin creating goals and a plan that feels manageable, supportive, and tailored to your needs.
