Great to meet you!

As a trauma-informed, attachment-based, neurospicy therapist with more than 15 years of experience, I support clients with ADHD, autism, chronic pain and trauma. My professional counseling journey began in 2009, working in substance use and then with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and their families. I'm fluent in ASL with a BA degree in Deaf studies. In recent years I've trained extensively in EMDR and Internal Family Systems. I also incorporate elements of EFT, CBT, DBT, play & art therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is deeply intuitive and attuned, aligning with your needs. I employ a variety of methods, including counseling lessons illustrated with doodles and drawings, anecdotes, & humor to make our sessions engaging and effective. Whether you're dealing with trauma, relationship issues, religious or church trauma, parenting challenges, or the mental health toll of chronic pain, I partner with you to find the most effective path forward, fostering meaningful progress and growth.

What you can expect from our first session

I understand the struggles of navigating a neurotypical world and specialize in helping clients harness their strengths while addressing their limitations. Additionally, I have a keen ability to coordinate care with specialists, guiding those who may feel lost in the process of seeking the right help. Clients often share that they leave sessions feeling understood and confident in my ability to help. My ultimate goal is that you leave your counseling experience feeling competent.
