Great to meet you!

You deserve a therapy space where you can be completely honest, ask the hard questions, and still feel like yourself. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. I am attentive, curious, and genuinely engaged in our sessions, and I want you to feel like you have the space to share what is really going on. I bring warmth and humor when it fits, ask thoughtful questions, and meet you where you are without judgment. I will then collaborate with you to come up with a Treatment Plan to lead you to relief and have you feel most supported in reaching your goals. Most importantly, you drive the process, and I am here to help you feel heard, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and personalized to you. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns, but I also want to understand the person behind those thoughts. We may use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore different parts of yourself, along with values based work to help you understand what truly matters to you and how you want to live. I am an active participant in the process, offering observations and initial reactions while making sure therapy continues to move at a pace and direction that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance to breathe, talk, and be yourself. I will ask questions to better understand what brought you to therapy, what you are experiencing, and what you hope will change. You will have plenty of room to share your story without feeling like you need to organize it perfectly. As I listen, I will help you begin connecting the dots between what you are thinking, feeling, and experiencing. Together, we will identify where it makes sense to start and create a therapy approach that feels useful, comfortable, and genuinely yours.
