Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m a trauma-informed therapist with a background in art therapy, substance use recovery, and competitive figure skating and coaching, which has shaped my belief in the power of resilience, creativity, and connection. I strive to create a warm, judgment-free space where you can show up as your authentic self, whether we’re working through trauma, navigating emotional challenges, or simply trying to better understand yourself. I integrate creative approaches, Brainspotting, mindfulness, and evidence-based practices while staying flexible to what feels most helpful for you. Most importantly, I believe therapy can hold space for both the hard moments and a little humor along the way.

My approach to therapy

Whether we’re diving deep with trauma-informed approaches like Brainspotting, getting creative with art therapy, or simply talking things through, I’ll meet you where you are and adapt to what you need in the moment. I believe therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy or serious—sometimes a little humor, honesty, and even a good laugh can be just as important. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being your full, authentic self without judgment. Together, we’ll make room for the hard stuff, the breakthroughs, and everything in between!

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard. I know starting therapy can feel a little nerve-wracking, so we’ll take it slow — no pressure to dive deep right away! Together, we’ll start shaping some goals based on what feels important to you.By the end of our first session, my hope is that you’ll feel a sense of connection, curiosity, and maybe even a little relief — knowing you don’t have to figure things out alone!
