Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Loss, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I am a therapist and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with experience providing therapeutic services in the school setting as well as in private practice. I work with a diverse population of various ages and specialize in treating trauma, life adjustments, grief, and anxiety/depression. I can provide Christian counseling if requested.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I primarily seek to provide a strengths-based, Person Centered therapeutic approach coupled with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I utilize TF-CBT to treat trauma related symptoms and I am fully trained in EMDR as well. I use a mix of play/art therapy interventions with children. I believe the therapeutic relationship is powerful in and of itself and I strive to create a welcoming, warm, safe space for my clients.

What you can expect from our first session

It is my hope that you step into a warm, welcoming environment with me, where you feel comfortable to share your story when you are ready. The first few sessions are primarily for sharing that story and your concerns at the time of starting therapy, as well as developing your goals for treatment. Over time, we will partner together to develop healthier coping strategies as well as a positive mindset to face all that is in front of you. I will be there every step of the way with you!
