Great to meet you!

What I want my clients to know about me is that I genuinely believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. Life can be overwhelming, and many people spend so much time trying to hold everything together that they rarely have a place where they feel fully seen, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to create that space for you.

I approach therapy with compassion, honesty, and collaboration. I don’t believe clients need to be “fixed.” I believe people often need support understanding themselves more deeply, healing from painful experiences, and learning healthier ways to navigate life, relationships, stress, and emotions. I work alongside my clients to help them reconnect with their values, build emotional resilience, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. (Headway)

My style is warm and supportive, but also practical. I want therapy to feel meaningful and useful, not like a place where you simply vent without growth. I often incorporate approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients recognize patterns that keep them stuck while building healthier coping skills and greater self-awareness.

I also understand how difficult it can be to ask for help in the first place. Many clients come into therapy carrying shame, self-doubt, anxiety, trauma, or the pressure of trying to meet everyone else’s expectations while neglecting their own needs. I strive to meet clients exactly where they are emotionally and help them feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re experiencing — even the parts they may have never shared out loud before.

You do not have to have everything figured out before you start. You simply have to be willing to show up as yourself, and we can work through the rest together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in helping clients feel genuinely understood and supported. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe enough to be honest about their thoughts, emotions, struggles, and experiences without fear of judgment. I work to create an environment where clients can show up authentically and begin exploring the patterns, challenges, and experiences that may be impacting their well-being.

I take a person-centered and evidence-based approach to treatment, recognizing that every client’s story, needs, and goals are different. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier coping strategies and greater emotional flexibility. My goal is not only to help clients manage symptoms, but also to help them build self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and a stronger connection to themselves and their values.

I also believe therapy should be both supportive and practical. Along with processing emotions and experiences, I work collaboratively with clients to identify tools and strategies they can apply in their everyday lives. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, burnout, or major life transitions, I aim to help them feel empowered, capable, and more grounded in their ability to handle life’s challenges.

Above all, I view therapy as a partnership. Healing and growth happen through trust, consistency, and authentic connection, and I strive to meet each client where they are while supporting them at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect sessions with me to feel supportive, collaborative, and grounded in a nonjudgmental environment where they can be themselves openly and honestly. I understand that therapy can feel vulnerable at times, so I strive to create a space where clients feel emotionally safe, heard, and respected throughout the process.

In our sessions, we’ll work together to explore the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns that may be contributing to current challenges or keeping you feeling stuck. I believe therapy should be a balance of emotional support and practical growth, so sessions may include processing difficult experiences, building insight and self-awareness, learning coping strategies, and identifying actionable steps toward meaningful change.

Clients can also expect me to be engaged, compassionate, and genuine in our work together. I value authentic connection and believe a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of healing. While I provide support and empathy, I also gently challenge clients when needed to help encourage growth, perspective shifts, and healthier patterns.

Every client’s needs and goals are different, so I tailor sessions to meet you where you are emotionally and move at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, burnout, or life transitions, my goal is to help you leave sessions feeling more understood, empowered, and equipped with tools to support your well-being outside of therapy as well.
