Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia with over fifteen years of experience working with children, adults, and families. My primary focuses have been varied and include grief and loss, life stage changes, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and parenting frustrations. I also have significant experience with trauma and abuse.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is flexible for your needs but it is always grounded in compassion and non-judgement. I believe that unconditional positive regard is possible for every relationship, even when the work focuses on correcting problematic behavior. Typically there is also a psychoeducational piece of my work that encourages the client to utilize different methods of adaptive coping strategies to increase their quality of life between sessions.

What you can expect from me

I find that people who feel that I am a good match for them have a desire to begin to strengthen their internal sense of self and strength and are eager to begin their journey to a higher level of self-actualization.
