Great to meet you!

I’m a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field across a variety of roles and settings. My educational background includes degrees in Political Science and Psychology, along with a Master’s in Social Work. I believe therapy should be centered around you, meeting you where you are and working together toward realistic goals and practical solutions that fit your life. Starting therapy can feel difficult, but taking that first step is an important part of creating the changes you want to see.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized because I believe everyone’s experiences and needs are unique. I use evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, to support clients working through anxiety, depression, substance use, behavioral addictions, domestic violence, ADHD, OCD, life transitions, relationship concerns, intellectual disabilities, and cognitive changes. I start by getting to know you and understanding what you are experiencing so we can create a treatment plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. We work as a team—you bring your experience and goals, and I bring clinical guidance, support, and practical tools to help you move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you, hearing your story, and understanding what you hope to achieve through therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, as well as your biological, psychological, and social history, to create a treatment plan that is personalized to you and your needs. I strive to create a warm, understanding, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll develop realistic goals over time and take things at a pace that meets you where you are, making therapy feel manageable and achievable.
