Great to meet you!

I’m a trauma therapist specializing in high achievers, chronic illness, childhood emotional neglect, and both medical and religious trauma. I am EMDRIA-trained in EMDR and integrate attachment-focused and nervous system–informed approaches to help clients process trauma safely and effectively. My practice is sex-positive, affirming, and grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. I work collaboratively with clients who are ready to move beyond survival mode and build a more regulated, authentic, and self-trusting life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-focused, relational, and thoughtfully paced. I’m direct, warm, and approachable, and I believe humor absolutely has a place in the therapy room because healing does not have to be heavy all the time. I work collaboratively with clients to build skills and internal resources before moving into deeper trauma work. I often say I will not throw you into the deep end of the pool until you have the tools to swim, and we move at a pace that feels steady, supported, and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we begin getting to know each other as whole people, not just a list of symptoms. You will hear a bit about my approach, my dogs, and probably my love of iced coffee and hot pilates, because authenticity matters to me. We will talk about what brings you in, what you are hoping will feel different in your life, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic. You can also expect space to share parts of yourself that are not only clinical, including the strengths, quirks, and values that make you who you are.
