Great to meet you!

After working as a substance use counselor in a residential treatment center, I saw firsthand how powerful it is to have a nonjudgmental, supportive presence, and how that relationship can open the door to self-compassion and healing. That experience deepened my understanding of the intersection between trauma and addiction, and solidified my passion for helping others understand how their past shapes their present.

I specialize in anxiety, trauma, panic, and substance use. I provide a safe relationship where you can explore your thoughts and emotions with compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach draws from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodynamic therapy, always tailored to what works best for you. Using curiosity and compassion, I focus on helping clients understand their inner world, build the capacity to sit with difficult emotions, and use what comes up in session to create real, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will start building our therapeutic relationship. It is a time for you to share your history and reasons for seeking out therapy. We will identify what you want to get out of therapy and work together to set meaningful goals. Our work is collaborative so I would also love to use this time to learn what you expect from therapy and what would be the most helpful for you.
