Great to meet you!

I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families/caregivers for 10 years. I enjoy working with individuals from birth to young adulthood, supporting them and those involved in their lives in understanding behaviors and responses to whatever life circumstances may arise. I have worked with typically and atypically developing children from birth in varying areas, such as mood disorders, intellectual disorders, anxiety, trauma, loss, self-care, relationships/friendships/family, developmental delays, mindfulness, and coping skills. I utilize various evidence-based practices that may be the best fit for your needs.

My approach to therapy

My goal as a therapist is to empower children and their caregivers and young adults to competently and confidently manage day-to-day life challenges, natural life transitions, and major events with the appropriate tools and skills for every family's unique needs.

What you can expect from me

I spend the first session getting to know you and your primary concerns. I will ask you questions and have a conversation with you about what your goals are for treatment. This will help establish the direction for us to take together as we build rapport as I better understand your needs and ideal outcomes. We will then establish a treatment plan and beginning strategies and recommendations for future work. Finally, we will discuss frequency of sessions and schedule our next future session.
