Welcome! My name is Alyssa and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I graduated from Rutgers University with a Masters of Social Work. I primarily work with individuals navigating mental health and substance use disorders, trauma recovery, and life changes.

My approach to therapy

I have experience in a number of different types of therapy and will work with you to figure out an approach that is right for you. I use a holistic and trauma-informed style to support my clients on their healing journeys.

I take a client-centered approach to therapy, which means that we will work together to identify and strive towards your goals. I also believe that vulnerability is essential for therapy, so I aim create an environment that is compassionate and nonjudgemental.
