Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Alyssa Sorrells, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Orlando, FL, providing telehealth services across the state. I work with both adolescents and adults, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, and life transitions. Clients often describe me as warm, empathetic, and practical — someone who helps them feel understood while building the skills to create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I take a humanistic, client-centered approach, meeting you where you are and tailoring our work to your unique needs. I blend practical strategies with support and guidance, helping you navigate complex emotions, improve relationships, and overcome patterns that may be holding you back. Together, we’ll explore your goals, increase self-awareness, and develop tools that empower you to move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, share your story, and clarify your goals for therapy. You can expect a collaborative space where your experiences and insights are valued. From there, we’ll create a plan to guide your progress, adjusting as needed along the way. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and ready to take meaningful steps toward growth and healing.
