Great to meet you!

I’ve worked in the field for over 15 years in a wide range of settings, supporting clients from many different backgrounds and with many different needs. I graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to earn my Master’s in Social Work from Kean University. These experiences have shaped me into a grounded, compassionate clinician who values meeting each person exactly where they are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is flexible and down-to-earth. I pull from a mix of styles—like CBT, ACT, psychodynamic work, and relational therapy—depending on what you need in the moment. Sometimes that means looking at how your thoughts affect how you feel, sometimes it means exploring old patterns that still show up today, and sometimes it’s about helping you stay connected to what really matters to you.

Across all of these approaches, I prioritize safety, compassion, and collaboration. I meet you exactly where you are—at whatever pace feels right—and we work together to define goals and make meaningful progress. Therapy with me is a shared process: you bring your lived experience, and I bring tools, insight, and a supportive, grounded presence. Together, we create a space where growth, healing, and self-understanding can unfold.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and listen closely as you share what brings you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to change or understand. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a chance for us to explore your story together.

You can expect a warm, calm, and welcoming environment where you can speak freely and feel heard without judgment. I’ll also help you clarify your goals for therapy so we can begin shaping a path that feels meaningful and supportive for you.

By the end of the session, you should have a sense of how we might work together, and—most importantly—feel safe, respected, and understood.
