Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adults throughout Colorado improve their mental health and overall well-being. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and individualized medication management for adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, and other mental health conditions.

Before becoming a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I spent 12 years working as a registered nurse. My nursing background shaped my compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and reinforced my understanding that mental health is closely connected to physical health and overall wellness. I believe understanding the "why" behind your symptoms is just as important as treating them, and I strive to create an environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and rescue dogs. I also enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and attending live music events.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best treatment plans are built through collaboration. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and actively participating in decisions about your care.

I provide evidence-based psychiatric care while recognizing that mental health is influenced by many factors, including sleep, nutrition, stress, lifestyle, relationships, and overall wellness. Every treatment plan is individualized, and I work closely with each patient to develop an approach that aligns with their goals, values, and preferences.

Whether you're new to treatment or looking for a fresh perspective, my goal is to help you better understand your symptoms and take meaningful steps toward improved mental health and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I'll take time to understand your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, previous treatments, lifestyle, and what you're hoping to achieve through treatment.

Together, we'll discuss potential diagnoses, review treatment options, and develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication recommendations, lifestyle strategies, and referrals for therapy or other supportive services when appropriate. I encourage questions throughout the visit and want you to leave feeling informed, supported, and confident about the next steps in your care.
