Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I have a passion for treating individuals and couples affected by anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I have over 10 years of experience in a variety of settings including community and school based settings, inpatient/residential, PHP, IOP, OP levels of care, and private practice.

My approach to therapy

My treatment is grounded in exposure and response prevention (ERP) - the gold standard, evidenced based approach for OCD- while integrating principles from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). You will find my sessions to be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual and families needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on your treatment goals guided by the questions, “ How would you know therapy was working if we checked back in 3 months from now? Would you have learned a specific skill? Would you have processed something you have been meaning to work through? Would you have communicated something to someone? Would you feel less stressed?” These questions help to identify what successful therapy looks like to you. If you aren’t sure what your answer would be, that’s okay. We can work on figuring that out together! You will leave your first session with coping skills and action steps towards meeting your goals.
