Great to meet you!

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted—perhaps struggling with past experiences, current stressors, or a major life transition. If you’re looking for a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood, therapy can be a powerful step forward. I’m Alyssa Vera, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, and life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you can explore what’s been weighing on you, heal at your own pace, and build skills that support lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed and collaborative, integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and somatic techniques to help you reduce anxiety, understand emotions, and build resilience. Walk and Talk Therapy is available for those who benefit from movement.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend 90 minutes getting to know one another in a relaxed, supportive setting. We’ll review a brief history questionnaire to help me understand your experiences, current concerns, and what’s bringing you to therapy. Together, we’ll explore your goals and begin identifying how therapy can best support you. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for—this session is about building connection, clarity, and a sense of direction
