Great to meet you!

As a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience, I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices that honor each client’s unique story and strengths.

I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, trusting relationships. Whether I’m helping a child navigate anxiety, supporting a teen through identity development, or guiding a family through conflict and change, my goal is to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered.

My clinical style is warm, thoughtful, and attuned. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems, and play-based techniques—tailored to meet the needs of each client. I’m especially passionate about helping families build stronger connections and fostering resilience in young people facing life’s challenges.

If you’re seeking a therapist who brings experience, empathy, and a deep commitment to growth and healing, I would be honored to support you or your family on this journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and strengths-based. I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to understand what’s happening beneath the surface—whether it’s behavioral challenges, emotional struggles, or relational dynamics—and find pathways toward healing and growth.

With over 20 years of experience, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. I integrate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems work, and trauma-informed care, while also drawing on play and expressive therapies when working with children and adolescents.

For families, I focus on improving communication, restoring connection, and helping caregivers feel more confident and supported in their roles. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients of all ages can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to thrive.

Above all, I lead with empathy, curiosity, and respect—believing that each person has the capacity for growth, and that healing happens in connection with others.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and better equipped to navigate the challenges they’re facing. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where children, adolescents, and families can explore emotions, build insight, and develop practical tools for growth and healing.

In our work together, clients often gain:

  • A deeper understanding of their emotions and behaviors
  • Improved communication and connection within their families
  • Coping strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and other challenges
  • Increased confidence, resilience, and self-awareness
  • A sense of hope and direction, even in difficult times

Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual or family, and I strive to make therapy feel engaging, meaningful, and empowering—especially for young people. My hope is that clients not only experience relief but also discover their strengths and feel more connected to themselves and others.
