Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed mental health counselor and I work with adolescents and adults navigating various challenges. Whether it's anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, or other life transitions, I am here to support you. I earned my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and have experience supporting clients from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and openly exploring what you’re going through. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, goals, culture, and experiences.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique needs, experiences, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is creating a warm and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, and the experiences or challenges that may be impacting you right now. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. My approach is collaborative, so we’ll continue shaping our work around your individual needs, strengths, and experiences.
