Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping military, veterans, first responders and their loved ones navigate trauma, relationship strain, and the emotional toll of high-pressure roles. Many of the people I work with are used to being the strong one for everyone else, often carrying far more than they let others see. I provide a warm, supportive, and practical approach that combines EMDR, Gottman Method couples therapy, and evidence-based tools to help clients heal, reconnect, and create lasting change. My job is to create a space where you no longer have to carry everything on your own.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can exhale a little, let your guard down, and not have to carry everything alone. I work collaboratively with clients to understand how chronic stress, trauma, burnout, and relationship patterns may be affecting their lives, relationships, and sense of self. My approach is warm, relational, and practical, helping clients not only process painful experiences, but also build healthier patterns, stronger communication, emotional resilience, and tools for lasting change.

I primarily incorporate EMDR, Gottman Method couples therapy, and practical relational tools tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are struggling with the emotional toll of a high-pressure career, relationship disconnection, unresolved trauma, or feeling emotionally exhausted from constantly caring for others, therapy can become a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward.

What you can expect from me

I offer a free 15-minute virtual consultation for clients who would like an opportunity to briefly connect, ask questions, and get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit before scheduling a full session.

Your first therapy session is primarily part of the intake process, which means we will spend some time reviewing paperwork, discussing your history, and exploring what brings you to therapy. We will talk about what has been weighing on you, what you would like to see change, and what goals you may have for yourself, your relationships, or your overall well-being.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you come in. Many of the people I work with have spent a long time carrying things on their own before reaching out for support. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to slow down, share at your own pace, and feel genuinely heard without judgment.

While the first session is only the beginning of the process, many clients tell me they already feel some relief after finally having a space to talk openly, feel understood, and begin making sense of what they have been carrying. My hope is that you leave feeling a little lighter, a little more supported, and with a clearer sense of where we can go from here together.
