Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in healthcare. My background includes primary care, mental health, critical care, public health, and nutrition, which has shaped my belief that good care means looking at the whole person—not just a diagnosis.

I understand that reaching out for support can sometimes feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. I enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized to your needs. Together, we can develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and focused on helping you feel more like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care begins with listening. My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgment-free, and I want you to feel comfortable talking openly about what you are experiencing and what you hope to change. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take time to understand the bigger picture, including your physical health, relationships, daily stressors, lifestyle, and personal goals.

I work with adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood changes, stress, and major life transitions. With my background in both primary care and mental health, I also pay close attention to how physical and emotional health can affect one another. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs, with an emphasis on practical strategies, education, and shared decision-making.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what you are experiencing. I believe treatment should be collaborative, so we will work together to identify your concerns, priorities, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

My focus is not simply on reducing symptoms, but on helping you feel and function better in your everyday life. Goals may include improving mood, decreasing anxiety, managing stress more effectively, improving sleep, strengthening relationships, or feeling more confident navigating major life changes. With my background in both primary care and mental health, I also consider how physical health, lifestyle, and emotional well-being may be connected. My goal is for you to leave our visits feeling heard, supported, and better equipped to move forward.
