Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in an inpatient behavioral health hospital as well as equine-assisted therapies. I have worked with kids and adults, and have experience with a variety of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and more. I've also had training in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapies.

My approach to therapy

The best expert on your life is you, but life can throw challenges at you that require a little extra support. My approach in sessions is to offer that support: to walk with you through understanding difficult times, empower you to find the solutions that fit your life, and to offer new tools that help you grow on your journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I want to get to know you and what you would like to gain from therapy. This is also the perfect time to get to know each other and see if we would be a good fit. Once that is decided, we will work together to identify specific goals you want to address and how we will shape the rest of our sessions. There's no need to have all of the answers at that point, but together we will create a plan to set up a successful and therapeutic experience.
